NY State Senator Rachel May: 2026 Loretto Distinguished Service Award

The Loretto Distinguished Service Award is presented to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, leadership, and impact in improving care for older adults.

Senator Rachel May has long been a champion for older adults and aging services. Throughout her career, she has advocated for policies that support independence, strengthen long-term care, and address the evolving needs of New York's aging population. Her leadership and commitment to ensuring older adults receive the care and support they deserve have made a lasting impact on our community and on the work of organizations like Loretto.

Susan Clancy-Magley: Inaugural John H. Clancy Mission Leadership Award

This year, we're proud to introduce the John H. Clancy Mission Leadership Award. Named in honor of John Clancy’s enduring legacy of integrity, compassion, and community leadership, as Loretto’s very first board chair, this award celebrates those who lead with humility, inspire collaboration, and champion Loretto’s mission to be a family of exceptional people caring for and about each other. Recipients embody Loretto’s values of trust, kindness, teamwork, and leadership while helping guide the organization with wisdom, generosity, and an unwavering dedication to those we serve.

It is especially meaningful to name Susan Clancy-Magley, John’s daughter and also a long-serving Loretto board member, as the inaugural recipient. Through her staunch support of Loretto, Susan has demonstrated the kind of thoughtful, mission-driven leadership this award was created to celebrate. Her generosity, guidance, and commitment to serving others have helped strengthen our organization and inspire those around her.

This award also recognizes the extraordinary legacy of the Clancy family, whose dedication to Loretto has spanned generations and continues to shape our organization today.

InterFaith Works: 2026 Loretto Community Impact Award

The Loretto Community Impact Award recognizes individuals or organizations that champion Loretto's mission and contribute to the well-being of older adults and our broader community.

This year, we're honored to recognize InterFaith Works, a longtime partner that shares our commitment to helping people age with dignity, independence, and support. Through its many programs and community collaborations, InterFaith Works has made a meaningful difference in the lives of countless older adults and families across Central New York. Their partnership and shared dedication to serving others have strengthened our community in immeasurable ways.

Loretto’s Mission in Motion Centennial Celebration Honorary Chairs

The Loretto Foundation is proud to announce Claudia and Adam Gasiorowski as the Honorary Chairs of our Mission in Motion Centennial Celebration.

Claudia's dedication to Loretto has helped shape our future while honoring our legacy. Since joining The Loretto Foundation Board of Trustees in 2018, she has been a passionate advocate for our mission, currently serving as Vice Chair of the Foundation Board, Chair of the Centennial Celebration Event Committee, and a strong voice in the Campaign Fundraising Committee.

Together, Claudia and Adam embody the spirit of generosity, leadership, and community that has sustained Loretto for nearly 100 years. As dedicated philanthropists and significant supporters of The Loretto Foundation, Claudia and Adam have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to ensuring exceptional care for older adults and vulnerable individuals throughout Central New York.
